Fast Fearless Females Reception honoring racing pioneer Gina Bovaird

Women who changed motorcycle racing history are being celebrated during the 103rd Annual Laconia Motorcycle Week!

The United States Classic Racing Association’s 2026 FIM North America Vintage Road Racing Championships will feature the theme Fast Fearless Females, honoring the trailblazing women who broke barriers in the sport and the racers carrying that legacy forward today.

The New England Racing Museum is especially excited to welcome pioneering racer Gina Bovaird, the first woman to qualify for the Daytona 200, as Grand Marshal for the championship weekend. Gina will also be honored at a special reception at the New England Racing Museum on Saturday evening.

This is a unique opportunity to meet one of motorcycle racing’s true pioneers and celebrate the women who continue to shape the sport.

🏁 Motorcycle Week Museum Hours
The New England Racing Museum will be open extended hours during Motorcycle Week, Wednesday, June 17 through Sunday, June 21, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM daily.

⭐ Special Event Hours
On Saturday, June 13, the museum will remain open until 8:30 PM for the special Fast Fearless Females Reception honoring racing pioneer Gina Bovaird.
